Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Perform general plant care and garden maintenance, i.e., pruning, mowing, blowing, edging, and aerating.
  • Prepare the facility for daily public visiting hours, including removal of leaves and other debris from walkways and steps.
  • With proper training operate machinery and equipment used in the performance of gardening duties.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meets deadlines as directed.
  • Maintains tools and equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Keeps working areas clean, safe, and organized.
  • Communicate timely with supervisor with updates on projects assigned and status.
  • Seeks out direction when unsure on how to safely and competently perform responsibilities.

Qualification Requirements

• Previous experience of 1 year in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work with ladders and other equipment.
  
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• CA DL Good DMV record.
  

• Exposure to dust, heat, cold, fumes and chemicals.

• Standing, walking on uneven ground, bending, pushing and pulling, fine dexterity.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Walk, kneel, bend, and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Pay range $22 to $28 Hourly
