This year may have been our Best Chardonnay Celebration to date! Maybe it was the perfectly chilled 2015 Far Niente Estate Bottled Chardonnay. Maybe it was the beautifully decanted large format bottles (there were so many big bottles!) from our Cave Collection. Maybe it was the pleasure of tasting some of the best Napa Valley Chardonnay from vintages young and old side-by-side with Chef Trevor's famous wood-fired pizzas. Maybe it was all of the above!
Over the years, this end-of-summer winery event has become one of our wine club members' favorite ways to embrace the spirit of Il Dolce Far Niente, aka, "the sweetness of doing nothing."
Thank you to everyone who joined us as we celebrated some of our favorite Napa Valley Chardonnay vintages here at Far Niente. We captured some photo highlights in the slideshow below. You can check out the full album here.

In anticipation of our annual Cave Collection release, we sat down with Winemaker Nicole Marchesi to talk about Far Niente's Cave Collection and the keys to making age-worthy Napa Valley Cabernet. Read on to hear what she has to say. Then mark your calendars for the January 17 release from Far Niente's Cave Collection. This year’s allocation is one of our most limited to date, with less than 100 bottles available for our most sought-after vintages.
