Although there are a host of white wines out there (and we love trying them all!), this July, we are paring down, simplifying our routine, and keeping it classic.
The best Chardonnays are a summertime classic: elegant, food-friendly, easy to dress up for Sunday supper, or down for Friday night pizza. Our winery chef's summer Chardonnay focus is on simplicity with a twist: pairing our favorite noble white grape with pizza. We cooked up these pizzas with Napa Valley Chardonnay in mind, most specifically Far Niente Chardonnay. Because we make our wine with an absence of malolactic fermentation—which retains the grape’s natural acidity—Far Niente Chardonnay’s delightfully forward fruit and bright acidity in youth gently evolve with time to a sophisticated, creamy and rich palate profile. To learn more about our house style and explore our vintage selections, click here.
