It's the 40th Anniversary of a Napa Valley icon! Forty vintages ago, we released our very first vintage of Far Niente Estate Bottled Chardonnay. It wasn’t just our first Chardonnay; it was also our very first Napa Valley wine. Our legendary Oakville Cabernet would follow on its heels in 1982, however, it was the elegance of our Napa Valley Chardonnay that first put us on the map.
The 2019 Far Niente Estate Bottled Chardonnay, Napa Valley releases today. With peach blossom aromas, silky fruit, lightly toasted oak and cool minerality, the new release of Far Niente’s Estate Bottled Chardonnay masterfully entwines timeless craftsmanship with modern elegance. Forty vintages later, it's as classically alluring as ever.
We invite you to learn more about this special anniversary vintage, and join us as we commemorate this exciting winemaking milestone. We're kicking off the celebration over here, with special Napa Valley wine tasting experiences at our Oakville Estate, a Hosted at Home Happy Hour featuring Proprietress Beth Nickel, exclusive recipes and more.

This year’s allocation is one of our most limited to date, with less than 100 bottles available for our most sought-after vintages.
